Dosímetros pasivos
Dosímetros no-electrónicos para medir las dosis de radiación gamma recibidos por el personal; se pueden leer las dosis instantáneamente sin necesidad de un análisis posterior en un laboratorio.
The RadTriage card dosimeters are low cost, easy to use, lightweight (credit card size and weight) and require no power source. A sensitive area of the dosimeter card responds immediately to absorbed radiation dose by changing colour (it becomes progressively darker).
The colour developed on the sensitive area of the card is then matched against a set of reference colours (on the same side of the card) indicating dose levels of 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2.000, 4,000 and 10,000 mSv.
The RADTriage dosimeter enables dose measurements to be made immediately following exposures by personnel with no technical training, without the need to send the dosimeters to a laboratory for processing, as is the case with standard TLD dosimeter badges.
An indicator on the right hand side of the sensor simultaneously monitors for false positives and negatives arising from overexposures to heat and UV/ sunlight; a red filter protects the dosimeter from responding to sunlight (can be lifted for more accurate dose reading of the dose.)
Technical information
