Area monitors are fixed devices designed to measure and record ionising radiation levels at a specific location. They are usually wall-mounted and will trigger an alarm if radiation levels exceed a preset threshold.

It can be supplied with either an internal or external sensor and includes free software for monitoring each Radiation Alert® Area Monitor across your network. The unit provides user-selectable warning indicators for low and high radiation alarm levels, low battery, detector failure, and also supports email and text message alerts.
The intuitive interface features a smart resistive touchscreen with a large five-digit LED display, clearly showing measured values and alarm status.
All settings are stored internally, even when power is disconnected. Each unit is electronically calibrated at the factory, with NIST-traceable calibrations available on request.
